Jim Bob Haggerton

Jim Bob Haggerton is an entrepreneur, business coach, and longtime leader with a passion for developing people and helping them reach their God-given potential.

Basketball has been a major part of Jim Bob’s life since childhood. He began playing competitively in first grade and continued through high school. Sports—and basketball in particular—have remained an important part of his life and have become one of the ways he most enjoys connecting with his own children.

As a coach, Jim Bob believes basketball provides an incredible environment for teaching lessons that extend far beyond the court. His focus is on developing fundamentals, hard work, discipline, teamwork, confidence, and character while teaching young athletes to compete with excellence and honor God in the way they play.

Jim Bob and his wife, Cindy, are the parents of seven children, and he is especially excited for the opportunity to coach his 10-year-old son, Whitten, this season with HSAA.

For Coach Haggerton, success is bigger than the scoreboard: play hard, get better, love your teammates, honor God, and become the kind of young man others can count on.
