We begin every practice with dynamic stretching and running form drills.  These are an important beginning to all running sessions, be it at practice or for at home workouts.  At the below link, we have videos to show the proper form for these warmup drills.

In addition, for kids who decide to dedicate more time to the craft of running and want to continue improving results, strength training is a key ingredient for high performing cross country runners.  Many of you already have strength programs, and for those athletes, we do not want to interfere with your regimen.  However, for those who want to continue improving and would like to add strength training to your plan, the below link also includes strength videos to help guide your efforts.
